  2. Jordan,
Just enjoy spending time with your family during the storm. If you can squeeze in 30 minutes of AR reading each day, that would be great. Stay safe and I'll see you at school on Tuesday!

  3. Wow, it's realy stormy! Mrs. Blackwell, I'm almost done with Redwall... can you sugjest a long seris with intesting books that are longish(I like ones that take me about 3 days- 300-400 pages?) that I might like to read? I'm running out of ideas... I used to read what Ahsley was reading- we have the same taste, but now she's on sailfish... Anyway, I'd apreciate it!!

  4. Hi Mrs.Blackwell!

i was doing the proofread homework for the night and it said that there should only be 3 capitalization errors, but i have much more...does it count as capatilizing something if you do it after a run on sentence? Just wondering...

  5. Cadyn - Just do your best and don't stress out about it. We will go over all the answers in class tomorrow. I'm at home and I don't have the paper with me, so I'm sorry to say that I can't answer the question. You are definitely on the right track to capitalize a new sentence!

  6. Alyssa-
Have you read the Lightning Thief series?
What about the Crispin Cross of Lead books by Avi? There are three in this series and I love them.

  13. Alyssa,
Teens for Jeans is a wonderful campaign each spring. We collect gently-used jeans and donate them to students in homeless shelters. Be on the lookout to do this in the spring. I organized this last year with my O Ambassadors (which is something you'll hear about soon!) Thanks for the question! I'll see you back at school tomorrow.

  15. I'm most excited about the fact that you will change the heading under our football game picture to Mrs. Koczot from Ms. Waterman... and btw..... when are we doing this again??

  16. Hi Jordan,
I hope you are feeling better. If you are sick for a few days, I'll be glad to send a copy up to the office for your mom to pick up. You can make up the editing quiz when you return. Take care of yourself! Don't worry -- you'll easily get everything made up when you come back.

  17. You're right, Mr. Koczot, I need to change your wife's name! My husband is looking in to getting us tickets again. Luckily, NC State won't be playing Duke again at home this year, so I won't be forced to watch Duke fans for an entire game!
