  1. ¡TENAMOS UNA FIESTA!

To celebrate the completion of Esperanza Rising, we will have a jamaica. (This was the weekly party that was held during the summer in Esperanza’s camp.)

We will need the following donations:
    - tortilla chips
    - salsa, guacamole, or any other dip
    - juice boxes, 2-liter drinks, or soda cans
    - cookies, cupcakes
    - plates
    - cups
    - napkins

*** Remember everything must be prepackaged and store-bought. No homemade items, please.

  4. Lily, of course you are invited to attend! It wouldn't be a party without you!!! It would be SO UNFAIR of you three to miss out, just because you are involved in a special project. Remember, I'm the nice teacher (unlike.....) Just kidding!

  6. Rachel,
Tomorrow we are having a crazy schedule! We will be in Core 1 from 8-8:30 (go to the band concert around 8:30) and then return to Core 1 around 10:45. It looks like we will still be in Core 1 until around 11:15. If she wants to bring food around 11:00, that would be fine. We can work it out! Even if she brings it later (like during lunch time) we could pass it out to Core 1 students at lunch. Thanks so much!

  8. Jacob,
I will bring a cutting board and a utensil for cutting. I can do all the cutting in my room. Thanks for asking. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble by bringing a knife!! Good idea to plan ahead.
