Richard Peck has written over 30 novels for young adults. Your assignment is to read one of his novels and compare and contrast it to A Long Way from Chicago. After reading the novel, please take an AR quiz on the book and then answer the following questions in one or two paragraphs:
1. Which novel did you choose?
2. Pick a character in your novel. Compare/ contrast with a character from A Long Way from Chicago.
3. What is the setting for your novel? Compare/contrast the setting for A Long Way from Chicago.
