I just finished Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie by Jordan Soddenblick. It's on this year's Battle of the Books list. I really enjoyed it! It's a story about two brothers and how they become closer.
ReplyDeleteI have finished two books by Robin Hobb. One is called Assassins Aprentice and the other is called Royal Assassin. I am currently readind Assassins Quest. If you like action and suspense you should read this book. Unless you have a week stomach because it has a lot of battles in it.

I am reading "The Ashleys". So far so good!I am so excited about language arts class this year and getting to read all these new books!
ReplyDeleteI read a book called Elephant Run by Roland Smith and it was great. Now I am reading White Fang. I can't wait to read Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie.

Over the summer I read War and Peace. Really I did. It was something I wanted to try. It was a bit boring. But it was very polite. Not like some books nowadays.

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs.Blackwell I read That Summer by Sara Dessen this was a great book and alot of girls can relate to it so it makes a good girls book!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, Mrs. Blackwells class is the best. SHes a big tar heel fan if u havent figured that out and somtimes if a big game is on you'll watch it during class but dont ask her to watch a game cause then u wont. U want to be on her battle of the books team this year its fun. But mrs. blackwell mrs. tritts battle of the books team is taking u down this year. If u work hard in her class ull have fun. But if u dont be prepared to have Mr. Koczot to get on u. Just some advie. MARLINS are the best.
ReplyDeletewell out of school i am reading heaven looks a lot like the mall. but this really good book i just got finished with was 11 Birthdays witch is a really good book you should look up the auther wendy mass and read the summery its a really really good book so please google Wendy mass and look at all of her books

ReplyDeleteI am reading the Percy Jakson books as you have seen. They are really good and I think the new series is out. It is about Percy Jackson son of Posidon who goes on crazy adventeres with Grover the stayer, Annabeth daughter of Athena,and tyson the cyclops. I would reremend these books to anyone. If you want to read them I don't mind-tripp
